As the National Democratic Congress (NDC) prepares to reorganise its internal structures in accordance with its constitution, the party finds itself at a defining moment. Consultations are ongoing, potential candidates are emerging, and social media platforms are increasingly active with varied opinions and narratives.
While spirited engagement is a healthy part of democratic politics, it is crucial that our internal processes reflect the values of integrity, respect, and discipline that we advocate to the Ghanaian people. Personal interests must not be allowed to override party unity or damage the hard-earned reputation of the NDC.
To our young comrades: defending your leaders and preferred candidates is admirable. However, such support must always be expressed with decency and respect for others. The NDC was founded on strong intellectual and moral foundations laid by great figures such as Jerry John Rawlings, P.V. Obeng, and Kojo Tsikata. This legacy demands maturity, tolerance, and principled conduct from all of us.
To our senior comrades and party leaders: your role as mentors is critical at this stage. Please guide your followers to engage constructively, discourage insults and personal attacks, and promote issue-based discussions that strengthen rather than weaken the party.
This period calls for measured engagement, not mudslinging. We must campaign ethically, communicate responsibly, and treat one another with dignity. The future of our party—and its credibility before the Ghanaian electorate—depends on how we conduct ourselves today.
Let us rebuild with integrity and reorganise with purpose, so the NDC emerges stronger, united, and ready to serve Ghana.
Long Live Ghana!
Long Live the NDC!
Long Live the National Youth Wing!
Long Live NDC Social Media Communicators!
