Renowned Ghanaian online journalist and philanthropist, Kobby Kyei, has once again demonstrated his commitment to humanitarian work after visiting a struggling family — a mother, Aunty Agyeiwaa, and her son, Angel — in Kumasi.

Kobby Kyei, who is widely known in Ghana’s media landscape for highlighting human-interest and developmental stories, shared the emotional encounter across his social media platforms.

His work over the years has focused strongly on humanitarian storytelling and community impact.
Footage currently circulating on social media shows the difficult living conditions the family is facing. According to Angel, due to their situation, he sometimes engages in illegal mining activities, popularly known as galamsey, just to survive.
He revealed that at times he earns as little as GH¢50, which clearly highlights the level of hardship the family is experiencing.
Moved by their situation, Kobby Kyei shared the video online and expressed his commitment to supporting the family.
In his message, he stated that he would do everything within his power to help Aunty Agyeiwaa and her son, Angel, find better living conditions and help reduce the poverty they are facing.
A few days after the initial visit, Kobby Kyei and his team returned to the community to spend more time with the family.
During the visit, he shared heartfelt and emotional words, showing compassion and hope for a better future for them.
Kobby Kyei continues to be recognized for using his platform to spotlight real-life struggles and bring support to vulnerable communities across Ghana.
