In a show of solidarity and goodwill, Hon. Chief Mike Dery, Political Coordinator attached to the Central Regional Coordinating Council (CRCC) and Presidential Staffer, led a high-powered delegation to Cape Coast in the early hours of March 18, 2026, to present a donation on behalf of the Vice President of the Republic, Her Excellency Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
The delegation, which underscored unity and collective commitment within the party, included the Mayor of the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly, George Justin Arthur, alongside constituency executives and distinguished former regional executives from across the Central Region.
Presenting the items on behalf of the Vice President, Hon. Chief Mike Dery conveyed a message of support and compassion to the Muslim community.
He further called on the community to continue offering prayers for the President, the Vice President, and all government stakeholders, seeking divine guidance, wisdom, and good health as they steer the affairs of the nation toward development and progress.
Leaders of the Muslim community, led by the Mallam, warmly received the delegation and expressed heartfelt appreciation to the NDC government and Her Excellency Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang for the thoughtful gesture.
A special prayer session was subsequently held, during which prayers were offered for the Vice President and government officials. The prayers invoked divine guidance, strength, wisdom, and success in their efforts to serve the nation effectively.
The visit not only strengthened ties between the government and the Muslim community but also highlighted the importance of unity, faith, and collective responsibility in national development.
