The Amasaman High Court has reduced the 15-year prison sentence handed down to Evangelist Patricia Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, to one year, with additional refunds and fines imposed.

Nana Agradaa was sentenced last year over multiple charges, including fraudulent advertisement, money-doubling schemes aired on Tender TV, and false pretenses.
In January 2026, Nana Agradaa and her legal team filed an application at the Amasaman High Court seeking a review of the sentence.
The case was adjourned by the presiding judge, with a new hearing date fixed for February 5, 2026.

On February 5, 2026, Nana Agradaa appeared before the court alongside her husband, Mr. Asiamah, some former close associates, and Ghanaian movie actor Big Akwasi, as the court heard the appeal for a review of her sentence.
After considering submissions from her counsel, the court ruled that the 15-year sentence was excessive. Consequently, the judge reduced the jail term to 12 months.
In addition to the reduced sentence, the court imposed a fine of 200 penalty units (GH₵2,400) and ordered Nana Agradaa to refund GH₵1,000 each to two complainants, alongside the court fines.
The ruling brings a significant turn in the high-profile case, which has drawn widespread public attention.
