According to reports available to Marcomediahub, the Minister of Education and the Deputy Minister for Communications, Digitalisation and Innovation have survived a road accident that occurred in the Upper East Region, on a stretch of road leading to Tumu via Bolgatanga.
Further reports indicate that the two ministers were traveling to the northern part of Ghana to attend and grace the 40th anniversary celebrations of Tumu College of Education and Jahan College of Education at the time of the incident.
The Minister of Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, and the Deputy Minister for Communications, Digitalisation and Innovation, Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu, both survived the accident.
The ministers are currently receiving medical attention, and their condition is reported to be stable.
