Award-winning Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Arthur, a well-known name in the Ghanaian music industry, has released a deeply emotional statement accusing his former record label, Ground Up Chale, of unfair treatment and exploitation.

According to the artist, his troubles stem from his time under the management of Glen Boateng and the entire Ground Up Chale team. Kwesi Arthur revealed that since signing with the label, he has not earned any money from his music, despite years of hard work and success.
He further alleged that some of his songs, which he tried to share freely with his fans, were taken down without his consent, stressing that he believes Glen Boateng and the Ground Up Chale team are responsible for these actions.

Kwesi Arthur also stated that the prolonged manipulation and treatment he has endured have seriously affected his well-being, leaving him mentally unstable. In his statement, he emphasized that if anything happens to him going forward, Glen Boateng and Ground Up Chale should be held fully accountable.
Additionally, the rapper disclosed that he has received threats demanding a payment of $150 for using his own images and music. He claimed that Ground Up Chale insists he does not own his images or songs—an assertion he strongly disputes.
